Molly is our NEW pet of the month! Molly’s family made an appointment with the practice as they were worried that she was looking very pale and lethargic.
The Vets quickly confirmed she had Immune-Mediated Haemolytic Anaemia, a condition where her immune system inappropriately targets her red blood cells. The team quickly organised a blood transfusion and treatment plan for Molly and she is making an amazing recovery.
Throughout all of her visits, she has remained calm, relaxed, well behaved. Most importantly, she remains optimistic; she loves nothing more than racing to a few of her favourite spots within the practice (one being the scales) ready for whatever the visit has in store for her.
You can prepare your animal for the eventuality of needing veterinary care with regular visits to the practice, where very little happens other than perhaps a sit on the scales and a treat from the nurse. Examinations with our nursing team in free nurse wellness assessments are also available. This preparation is a vital part of their routine care as well as making recoveries speedier and experiences even more pleasurable.
